I wish people knew about the diverse groups of people and perspectives in Baltimore that enrich the city’s culture and history.

Bridgette Acklin

Bridgette Acklin (she/her) has more than 10 years of experience working in social services, serving underserved populations, including youth between the ages of 18 to 24. In her current role as program manager for the Department of Human Services Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training Office, she oversees partnership development, grants administration, and third-party partner contract compliance and performance.

Bridgette holds a Master of Business Administration from American University’s Kogod School of Business, with a concentration in business analytics, and a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University with a concentration in English Literature and African American diasporic studies.

In her free time, she likes reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.
