What do you want people to know about Baltimore?

Despite negative stories, Baltimore is both educated and caring.

Kamari Weaver

Community Research and action committee

Kamari Weaver (he/him) is a member of the Class of 2026 at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. Ever since he was a kid, he has been drawn to helping others and getting to know people through networking.

As a photographer, Kamari has worked with Baltimore City, Baltimore City Public Schools, and his own school. He is part of The Marching Elite Foundation drumline.

Kamari joined the Community Research and Action Committee because it combines his interest in numbers and statistics with his desire to help the community by better understanding what people want and what’s standing in their way. He wants to help change how people see youth in Baltimore.

Kamari plans to go to college and is interested in leadership roles in organizations that benefit Baltimore.
