What was your first job, and what did it teach you about yourself?

My first job was at a snowball stand. That job taught me accountability, patience, and how to interact with different types of people.

Lindsay believes that research and evaluation are powerful tools in the journey toward collaborative community and systems change. She has dedicated herself to using these tools for social good for over a decade. Johnson provides technical leadership and strategic direction of the evaluation strategy, performance management agenda, and learning framework for various initiatives focused on improving outcomes for Baltimore City youth and young adults.

Lindsay is a proud alumna of both Johns Hopkins University where she received a BA in psychology and the University of Illinois at Chicago where she received a PhD in community psychology. She began her social change career as an internal evaluator with the Chicago Community Schools initiative, then further honed her skills as an external evaluator with a diverse portfolio of social justice related projects. As a Baltimore native, she is particularly excited to focus her skills and passion toward investing in the city that invested in her as a youth.

Lindsay lives with her husband and their yappy chihuahua. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, entertaining, and spending time with family.
