What do you want people to know about Baltimore?

I love to read graphic novels and want more people to know that Baltimore is home to many talented graphic novel artists!

Community Research and action committee

Victoria Lebrón (she/her) is a founding partner of Bmore Transform, a professionally trained cooperative of abolitionist educators deeply committed to decolonizing Baltimore’s educational ecosystem. Passionate about education, Victoria received a Master of Arts in Elementary Inclusive Education and taught in elementary classrooms for 10 years.

Victoria’s interest in data began after college when she served as an intern for the Manhattan Borough President's Office, gathering data on the experiences of public school leadership under the newly enacted No Child Left Behind Act. This experience led Victoria to consider how data collection and analysis can a) affirm the experiences of youth and the adults who work with/care for them and b) empower us to understand how systems can positively and negatively affect their lives.

Originally from Queens, New York, she now lives in Baltimore City with her family.
