What is the community Research + action committee?
This 14-person, intergenerational committee held its first meeting in July 2024. The committee, also known as C-RAC (see-rack) will help drive the vision and purpose of the Youth Data Hub by ensuring that lived experiences are central to data products, that data is digestible and accessible to multiple different audiences, and that the questions and projects of the Youth Data Hub serve the wider Baltimore City community.
What do they do?
C-RAC members will each serve a two-year term with the option of serving a second term. They attend monthly meetings. Responsibilities include:
Aligning Youth Data Hub projects with our shared vision and principles.
Serving as a champion by promoting the Youth Data Hub in the community and connecting the community with data-driven projects.
Joining committee discussions, talking about the benefits and risks of data projects, and giving advice on data-related projects.
Sharing their own experiences and insights to help shape data practices and decisions.
